Panel layout
We plan where each panel starts and ends so seams line up across the roof and cut panels are kept to the edges, not the middle of a slope.
Serving Beaumont, TX & surrounding areas
From the neighborhoods off Dowlen Road to the streets around Phelan Boulevard and Calder Avenue, we install and repair metal roofs across the west side of town.
The West End is Beaumont's dining, shopping, and entertainment district, centered on Dowlen Road, Phelan Boulevard, and Calder Avenue. The homes are in the neighborhoods that spread out from those streets.
Many of those houses are larger, with long ridge lines, several roof planes, and hips and valleys where sections meet. On a roof like that, the work that matters most happens before the first panel goes on: laying out the panels so the seams run straight and line up, and planning ventilation so the attic can breathe along the whole length of the roof.
Whether you are moving from an aging shingle roof to metal or already have a metal roof that needs a leak fixed or loose trim secured, we handle both, and every job starts with a written scope so you know exactly what is included.
A clean-looking metal roof on a larger home comes down to four details.
We plan where each panel starts and ends so seams line up across the roof and cut panels are kept to the edges, not the middle of a slope.
Hips and ridges need trim that fits the panel profile and closures that keep out wind-driven rain and pests.
Where two slopes meet, or a roof runs into a wall, the flashing has to carry a lot of water. These are the most common leak points on any roof.
Long roofs need intake at the eaves balanced with exhaust at the ridge, so heat and moisture do not build up in the attic.
Moving from shingles to metal is a bigger project than a re-roof with the same material. Here is what happens:
Already have a metal roof with a problem? See our metal roof repair page for leaks, loose panels, and storm damage.
Tear-off or overlay
Most jobs start with removing the old shingles. An overlay is only an option when the decking is sound and the overlay is approved.
Decking check
With the old roof off, we check the decking and replace any soft or damaged boards before anything new goes on.
Underlayment and trim
New underlayment goes down first, then the eave, rake, and wall trim the panels tie into.
Cleanup
We protect landscaping and walkways, then finish with a magnet sweep for fasteners and a final walkthrough.
